My intention is to write good music and not give a hoot about how it sounds. If it sounds good to me, that's good enough. Just finished writing a song now, has a guitar part and everything. It's one of my favorites now. A guitar part has been written. So I will try and record it tomorrow. It's called, The Great North Star and it was inspired by Talk and the X&Y era. I don't know why, but when I hear big band, I picture Macy's, New Years eve, day, Christmas eve, day, rainy days and New York. I can just picture it on Christmas day, it's cold and snowy out, and you're inside drinking hot chocolate next to the fire.
