My point is that it was pretty normal back then that you had problems importing Coldplay merchandise, but the current situation of europeans having to pay import taxes is absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.I am truly glad for you and all americans, but there is no reason why Coldplay should not have a U.K.-based store as well for european fans. A t-shirt would cost me more than double the retail price for me to import it, so I can only imagine a lot of people over here will choose only to shop what they want at the live shows. I encourage everyone from Europe to write to the store, letting them know they should change their policy.

 

I think they distribute from both areas. Taken from small writing on the front page of the shop:

"Please note merchandise ordered In Pound Sterling or Euros will ship from The United Kingdom. Merchandise purchased in US dollars will ship from the United States."

 

does condensing the shop tax you folks more? Wasn't is always in the UK?

Was under the impression this move just made all merchandise available to everyone.

Blimey! I swear that was not there before, but I might be wrong and might have simply overlooked it. I even wrote to customer support and they did not tell me the items shipped from the UK. I hardly think they added that after hearing my complaint, so I must have simply overlooked it. Thanks a LOT for pointing this out! I can order again: *happy cold player once more* :D

Well, after a little deliberation, I just caved and bought $100+ worth of merch from the store the other night. So far I've received confirmation of one item being shipped, so expecting it tomorrow sometime, hopefully. Fingers crossed the other items get here soon, too.

I ended up buying the blue "jumping" shirt. I wanted the pink one with the heart as well but then gasped at the total once I had them both in my cart! I bought S because most everything in S fits me, unless it's for teeny tiny little people!

I have ordered a tee from the shop and have been waiting 4 weeks already. I sent an email inquiry and Live Nation said the merchandise is not in stock in their warehouse and will be shipped once available. They didn't have any trouble cashing my payment already though. WTF? Anybody else have trouble with this new ordering format?

As of yet, I am still waiting to receive the one item that was confirmed as being shipped the other day. Haven't heard anything about the other 3 things I purchased...
