Thanks for posting, I hadn't seen that. These interviews are getting rather repetitive now. The first question is always 'What does Mylo Xyloto mean?'. The band must have answered that question over 20 time now and yet interviewers still ask them. It's just lazy journalism.

Yeah, it's more of the same.

I somehow feel reassured when Chris mentions Radiohead, and he does that a lot. As long as they're still inspired by Radiohead rather than Rihanna, they'll be fine. :P

Albums vs Singles

 

I'm so glad that Chris likes the album format. Coldplay are musical geniuses. They'll never succumb to singles for a quick buck.

Journalists have a target audience and believe me that's going to be viewers that are not too familiar with Coldplay and may watch their first interview of the band. I do, however, agree that it must be a very tiring process for Chris and the rest.
