This song is awesome, i think it sounds a lot like a Killers song. anyone else get that vibe?

Not really. And I'm a pretty big Killers fan. Sounds like straight up X&Y-era Coldplay to me.

Great song though.

Agreed. X&Y sounding indeed. Not really Killers-y. Though, I sorta got a U2 vibe from it too. Hmmmm.

Major U2 vibes, but unlike U2, I LOVED THIS.

This song is noise. Loud noise.

Good noise. But loud. Too loud.

Nope. This song is My Bloody Valentine-esque in that the louder it is, the better it is.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

I was just thinking that earlier

One question... wasnt there a review which said, that 3 Songs use some aspects of other songs or something like that? And wasnt this song one of them?!

For me, it sounds like Keane!! The beginning of the song!

But in a part I also heard a little bit of The Killers!

What a song!! Beautiful!! :dazzled:

I haven't listened it yet, but if it sounds like The Killers, I'm gonna like it for sure!

Coldplay is not like Keane.

For once I agree with Pitchfork

...British bands who've grown tired of miming Radiohead and now simply aim for the much more imitable sound of Coldplay.

Keane wants to be Coldplay.

It kinda sounds like The Killers' album Day & Age, like their B-side "Forget About What I Said".

Yes. Although I guess what really bothers me is that I feel like I can't hear Chris at all. The song is loud, but he's not. I'll get used to it, but this song could be AMAZING if not for that.

I actually get somewhat of an Angels & Airwaves feel from it. Anxiety, I think. Certainly not too similar though, just the same vibe for me.

for me this one and CB sounds like the killers

Agreed! As a victim (that's how they call the Killers fans) I can similarities especially on CB then DLIBYH.

I've always thought The Killers and Coldplay had a lot of stuffs in common. So this is no surprise to me.

Now, The Killers need to release another album, they haven't since 2008 just like Coldplay.

Anyone on here, listened to the Brandon Flowers solo album, Flamingo??

It was one of my favorite 2010 albums.

I love that album. Jilted lovers and broken hearts is an AMAZING song. along with Only the young, and Crossfire.

I was thinking the same thing, I can't think of a specific song it sounds like but the first time I heard it I thought of the Killers.

You win this thread.

It also slightly reminds me of a happier sounding version of Noel Gallagher's What a Life. Or Things I Don't Understand.
