thegameisback
Someone knows what are the chords for the song?
DanDingus
I wish i could figure it out... :\ This is really driving me crazy, there probably wont be tabs or chords until a week or so after the 24th.
estein219
I don't have the best ear, but this YouTube cover sounds right to me and he lists the chords: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuXVorVy2zU]Coldplay - U.F.O (Acoustic) guitar cover - YouTube[/ame]
DanDingus
sounds right, but the pitch is incorrect. i know for a fact that the first chord in U.F.O is the first chord for Wedding Bells too. The high E is tuned into a D. I guess someone can try to work on the progression from that. Here is the chord: d----o b----8 g----0 d----9 a----10 e----x
DanDingus
or maybe just put a capo on the 5th fret?
limp05
That's my cover :-) There not the exact chords that Chris plays. He slides up and down the guitar I think the tuning is the difficult part to figure out. It's different variations of G and C for the verses. Hope someone cracks this soon. I snapped a few strings trying to find the tuning :-/
limp05
In my version I also tuned the high e to d. Shoulda mentioned that on the video.
Vorax
Hello! here is my version in standard tuning : Coldplay – U.F.O D/G: 3x0032 C(add9): x32033 G: 320033 Intro: G(x75037) – C(x32032) - G - G --------G---------------------C-----------G----D/G Lord I don't know which way I am going C-----------------D/G-----------G----D/G Which way the river gonna flow --------G-----------------C-----------------G----D/G It just seems that upstream, I keep rowing C-------------------------D/G----G Still got such a long way to go C-----------------D/G------------G----D/G Still got such a long way to go -------------G----------------C Then that light, it's your eye --Am I know, I swear, we’ll find somewhere ------F----------------------------C The streets are paved with gold ---------G--------------C Bullets fly, split the sky -----Am But that's all right, sometimes, sunlight ----------F---------------------------C Comes streaming through the holes 2x G - C - G - D/G Oooohhh C - D/G - G - D/G Ooooohh End on G I hope it will help! Maybe it's not very accurate (I guess the tuning is not "standard" in the song and I think there's two guitars, one that plays the chords and the other that does the descents (the 7-5-3-2 on the last string) or maybe there's just one guitar and not the same chords at all :D ) but I think it sounds good. Dark K
I am ear training, so pardon me for anything wrong. I do all by progressions (don't know if that's how you call it in english) All I hear is a single repetitive line that goes: I (G) - V (D) - I (G) Being that it is in G major.
