Paul is dead clues in Coldplay.

Featured Replies

For those who don't know, The Beatles have this game you play with their songs. Paul died and was replaced by somebody.

The clues say that he died Monday, November 9th at 5:00am in a car crash and was replaced by Billy shears, who won a Paul McCartney look alike contest.

These clues were meant for The Beatles, but I like to find Paul is dead clues in Coldplay songs.

In the cover of The Beatles album Abbey road Paul, the bassist, isn't wearing shoes. In the paradise music video Guy, the bassist, isn't wearing the elephant shoes.

The line in hurts like heaven "I struggle with the feeling that my life isn't mine" could be something Billy Shears says because he is trying to live Paul's life and not his own.

Major minus has a lot of clues.

There's an ambulance sound near the end of the song. It could be the ambulance that came to the crash.

They got one eye watching you

One eye on what you do

So be careful who it is you're talking to

They got one eye watching you

One eye on what you do

So be careful what it is you're trying to do

And be careful if you're walking into view

Just be careful if you're walking into view

The fans have their eyes on Billy, so he has to be careful so he doesn't get found out.

The line "Us against the world" refers to the band going against the world when they try to make people think Billy is Paul.

Fix you could be about Billy trying to be Paul, but when he fails the rest of the band will fix it.

"Now my feet won't touch the ground" is often a reference to death.

Can you find any more Paul is dead clues in Coldplay songs?

Haha, oke, love this thread already! Paul is dead clues are mostly too funny, but on the other hand sometimes it really makes you think. Take the 'Abbey Road' cover for instance. Some people think the fact that Paul is the only walking without his shoes and holding a cigarette, that's a reference that he might be dead and replaced.

Can't wait to hear some more 'clues' in Coldplay songs!
