November 24, 201114 yr What the heck?! :lol: No, it was originally as a remembrance to Native Americans who helped the colonies when they were first starting out in America, and the colonists and the Native Americans had a big feast. Squanto (friendly Native American) taught the colonists how to plant corn, but we aren't celebrating it. 1,700 post!
