North American tour announced

21 dates in America and Canada for 2012

 

Good morning. We are very pleased to announce that Coldplay will head to North America in 2012 for a string of shows in the USA and Canada.

 

Tickets go on general sale on Saturday, 17 December at 10am (local time) from 1-800-745-3000, Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Before that, you can use any American Express card to purchase advance tickets, from Monday, 12 December, at 10am (local time) until Friday, 16 December, at 10pm (local time). The advance AMEX tickets will be available from here for all shows except Portland (here) and Houston (here). NB: The tickets for the two LA Bowl shows will not go on sale until January 2012.

Madison is definitely closer to Chicago, but I'd suggest going to both shows. ;)

Apparently, all the good presale tickets are gone already-they're all in the very back now...

Anybody here get any good seats before they disappeared? I'm still waiting for my AMEX card to get here in the mail... :cry:

 

I don't suppose there's any chance of getting good seats in the general sale on Saturday, is there?

I've been reading some of the other threads here, and people are saying that not all seats have been released for sale during the pre-sales, only a select group. That gives me hope that I'll still get a good seat tomorrow morning. If I can't get the floor, I'm aiming for one the lower level sections close to the stage.

I'm aiming to purchase the tickets at 10:01am, hopefully in the first couple rows on the main floor. Quick fingers!

I looked on Stubhub right now, and the closest to the stage people are selling tickets is Row 20, so that's as close to the stage the pre-sale tickets went, so if you're looking to get closer, in the general sale tomorrow, you're still in luck. Checked Ebay.com for tickets as well, and again Row 20 is the closest people are selling.

Wow, all floor tickets have been sold already.........this sucks major........:angry:

How can NO floor seats be available for the General Sale???? This is so dumb!

After finding that no floor seats were available ( :angry: ), I searched a bunch until I found section 117, row 17.

 

So I'm definitely going, just in a different section than I had planned on. :cool:

I have this thing where I'll really only do floor seats at concerts, so if I have to pay $200-250 for a floor seat, through StubHub or something, I'll do it. Just have to wait a paycheck, haha.

Nothing closer than Row 19 has showed up on Stubhub yet, so I may have to wait a bit.

Ticketmaster can go shoot itself in the face.
