Hello Coldplayers

I am Philip from Germany and I want to apologize for my bad English first. Although I really liked it in school I'm not using it anymore, except for general chatting and meme-based jokes, so it started to suck. But I'm trying my very best. And maybe I can advance my English skill here.

I am 22 years old, living in a small town near Frankfurt where I'm studying German, History (yeah, just like Chris :D) and Philosophy to be a teacher in two or three years. As a german student I naturally love literature and I'm trying to write short stories myself, but I have not published anything yet. I'm working on a book at the moment which is mainly about losing someone you love, maybe I can publish it in two years.

Furthermore I'm addicted to music, mainly punkrock, britrock and metal stuff, but there is also some electric music and rap I like. Coldplay has been one of my favourite bands ever since and especially after my second Coldplay concert on Rock am Ring this year. I will never ever forget that day with the rain, the lightning and this beautiful music.

I found this site because I was searching for Coldplay-Tattoo inspirations, cause my girlfriend and me are thinking of getting an "In my place" Tattoo on our forearm. Like I said, the day on Rock am Ring was very special and this song was the moment we really noticed that we are in love (after a long friendship and slightly more than one year of being together).

I guess there is no better reason for loving Coldplay :).

Well, if you still have questions you may ask me, but my German is way better than my English so don't kill me for my English.

Hi Philip,

viel Spass hier!!:)

Hello and welcome here! And your English is actually quite good, really. :)

YOu don't know how long it actually took to write that post :D

Welcome!
