The thing is, pop(ular)/mainstream music is everywhere, it's on radio, TV, they play it on parties... You can't escape it, and you can't always choose not to listen to it. So I do care about what's happening to it. There was a time when it used to be bearable or really good and today, with the internet ruining the music industry, I have a feeling that everyone stopped caring. They're making these idiotic songs that I could make using some program. And I feel pretty good with generalising because 90% of those pop songstresses' songs sound pretty much the same.
