April 18, 200719 yr Yesterday I bought the DVD Absolution Tour. I haven't finished to watch it yet but i can assure you it's great. :) I bought it because i have never seen them at a concert and the one they'll give in Paris in June was sold out quickly.
April 18, 200719 yr Good for you! :) I don't have it, but I've watched and it was a great show. Never get bored of it. Speaking of Muse DVD, I just bought Hullabaloo on saturday. So I think now I know what Ren meant the other day about what Dom did on backstage. :D Haven't watched the whole thing though, but it was so hilarious and wild. :shocked2: :laugh3:
April 18, 200719 yr I'm not sure. There are some scenes from inside their trailer, but it's blurred and been cut here and there, so.... I'll let you know after I watch it all. ;)
April 19, 200719 yr Its Dom having sex with a groupie, and then him and Chris 'taking the piss' in the shower by acting gay..quite funny. I just think its hilarious the way its edited so Matt looks sad whilst Doms with all these people..:laugh4:
April 19, 200719 yr Oh, the shower scene. I've seen it. :laugh3: I totally forgot about this yesterday. How do you know it's Dom? I can hardly see anything. And I always thought that Matt is the wildest and craziest among them. I guess I was wrong. :D
April 19, 200719 yr i've never really listened to Muse, but my good friend, who's musical taste is respectable, keeps telling me to listen to their "Black Holes and Revelations" album. whattya guys think . . does that sound like a good place to start?
April 19, 200719 yr I started with Absolution, the BHAR, then Origin of Symmetry.. I would say OoS is the best they've done. That and Absolution. I love Showbiz, but I enjoy the acoustic versions of songs more from that album.

April 21, 200719 yr @ tgaucho : if your friend says listen to BHAR, then do it. All Muse albums are great, but BHAR is by far the deepest and most intelligent of them.

Absolution may well be the easiest to get into, but in my opinion, you should work backwards. BH&R: Mashup of styles, sometimes nodding towards Absolution, sometimes veering off in new directions. Absolution: In most cases, a continuation of the heavierness found in Origin of Symmetry. Origin of Symmetry: Revealed a different, harder, less piano-based Muse. If you like, it was a complete reinvention. Showbiz: Can't really describe this, as I haven't listened to it much. Martin's Recommendations BH&R: Map of the Problematique, Assassin (if you can, get the Grand Omega Bosses edit), Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Knights of Cydonia. Absolution: I would actually recommend the whole album, but in particular: Apocalyspe Please, Stockholm Syndrome, Hysteria, .utterflies & Hurricanes, TSP (The Small Print), Thoughts of a Dying Atheist) Origin of Symmetry: New Born, Bliss, Hyper Music, Citizen Erased, Darkshines, Feeling Good, Micro Cuts. Showbiz: Sunburn, Muscle Museum, Filip, Cave, Showbiz, Uno, Unintended. There you go.
April 23, 200719 yr Hoodoo is awesome. "I've had recurring nightmares, that I was loved for who I am... and missed the opportunity to be a better man..." :bigcry:
April 23, 200719 yr when are these guys touring in the US? p.s.i can't stop loving that picture in your avatar alyssa, you look so cute:)
April 23, 200719 yr MUSE! Oh how I long to see ya live. Yeah I've been spreading the love to a friend. I OF COURSE recommended Origin Of Symmetry first.
April 23, 200719 yr hey guys.... OoS is great! I'm starting to love it.... and i read those recommendations... thanks!
April 24, 200719 yr Yay, I got BHAR for my birthday. :nice: That was the last one, so I have all four of them now. Guess I'll have to try to track down a copy of Hullaballo next...someday.
April 24, 200719 yr Yay, I got BHAR for my birthday. :nice: That was the last one, so I have all four of them now. Guess I'll have to try to track down a copy of Hullaballo next...someday. It will be a race, first to see who can find a copy of Hullaballo in Hali haha.
April 24, 200719 yr It will be a race' date=' first to see who can find a copy of Hullaballo in Hali haha.[/quote'] You can win. I don't have the money for it right now. :( I haven't seen it around at all. Of course on the other hand I don't check the DVD sections in the music stores very often... I know Music World at the mall had some of Radiohead's DVDs a while ago... hmm. Do they have Best Buys in Canada? None on the East Coast. We do have Future Shop, which is the same sort of thing and I think it's run by Best Buy.
April 24, 200719 yr Future Shop is horrible for trying to find music unless it is a new release. They do have some good sales occasionally though on some popular past albums.
April 26, 200719 yr I saw a trailer for 28 weeks yesterday and it has a Muse song in it. (It has to be) Anybody know what one it is? EDIT: Its called Shrinking Universe. Could somebody PM me this song? Thanks.
April 26, 200719 yr Oh yeah--I heard it in the trailer preview a month ago. :D I'll try sending you the song once I upload it. :D
