  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

^^^ That set list on the DVD is awesome!

I was so excited to see them, but then I saw that only nosebleed seats are available for their show in Detroit next Friday, so now I'm a little upset.

BUT thel local radio station is giving away tickets ( and they usually have the best seats or floor GA) and it qualifies you to win the grand prize of playing poker before the show with the band!!!!!! So all day tomorrow I will be camped out by the radio and I hope to at least win the tickets.

The grand prize would be AWESOME too.

But I really can't play poker.:P

I went to CIY(christ in youth) its a christian convention. they played muse every night before the main session and they had a awesome light show. i was amazed at how many people clapped at teh end of the song each night, i didnt know there were so many muse fans there.

thats pretty surprising but it shouldn't be really. Muse aren't anti - christ or anything, and good music is generally appreciated everywhere ;)

it's been a long time.. can't wait till I get back to my own place and start downloading all the things you lovely people have posted here:) and congrats to all of you who will be seeing Muse this year, hopefully they'll come to Finland too

btw, the album went straight into number 3 in the Finnish album charts:)

Woohoo, managed to get myself a standing ticket to see Muse in November!!!! Wembley arena here i come!!!! :D:D:D

Megalomania is anti-religion' date=' but that's in general.[/quote']

i don't think i'd call it anti religion ... its a song that questions the meaning of life, but doesn't mention religion and people's beliefs specifically... the song can be taken in many different contexts .. only Matt Bellamy knows the true meaning of Megalomania.

By anti-christ i'm thinking of bands such as Black Sabbath and lots of death metal music. i never can listen to any of that as it makes no sense and isn't even justifiable as music.

Well I read somewhere that the use of the church organ was an ironic juxtaposition against the anti-religious lyrics.

But of course, everything's open to interpretation. I'm sure Matt has said something about the meaning in some interview.

ah yeah you could be right then :) i like Megalomania, it sounds like someone talking and questioning what they are doing in their life and what they will get out of it ... perhaps thinking until they come across a mindblowing thought such as death and there being no more .. or going to heaven, with God ... .

OMG I was playing Space Dementia on the piano today and I decided to do Matt's crazy slides down at the end like he does of Hullabaloo and I blistered my fingers real bad! oooooowwwww.

Oh but it's so fun to do! I throw them in when I play Butterflies & Hurricanes too. :D

damn it all the standing tickets for manchester have sold out (i know i was a bit slow in trying to get some) do you think nearer the time some tickets will open up because people can't make it? will these tickets be a lot more expensive than the actual price of the tickets?

^Congrats!!!! So you found someone to go with?

Oooh im so so excited!

Thnx :D Yeh i'm going with a couple of people from work, 21st November! Never seen Muse live before and i'm really excited, can't 'effin wait!!!!

you will be able to get tickets because others can't go but as you said, they will be a lot more expensive. there are always tickets on ebay you can look for but these are also expensive.

Supermassive Black hole is okay, are they the next Coldplay?:\

:stunned: the next?! ... no way. Muse are Muse and you should listen to their other songs apart from Supermassive before judging them ;)

Muse are nothing like Coldplay. Plus Muse released their first album in 1999, which was before Coldplay's first album Parachutes was released.

Muse can't be compared to Coldplay ! Both are terrific but there's no way to say Muse could be the next Coldplay, first because Muse is older than Coldplay...

How i love muse

I'm soo addicted to glorious, who's with me?

and feef! thanks! haha i actually recorded a voice track but i didnt include it cos i hate my voice :P

I'm with you! Originally the beginning wierdness didn't allow me to listen to the whole track (what's up with that anyways?) but it's SOOOOO amazing! I didn't even realize it. It's one of my favorites now. :D

Glorious is an awesome track and i gave it further credit by allowing the lyrics into my signature~! lol ... but yeah brilliant stuff .. the opening is strange but i like it. :) its a definite improvement on Des for me.
