Same here, but I collected myself just in time to notice that it was in fact for Children of Men. I think there was an earlier trailer for it where they were playing a Sigur Ros song too...

I nearly did the same, I heard the opening riff and my dad flipped to another channel "DAD OMG, MUSE MUSIC IN AMERICA ON TV! OMG, TURN IT BACK!"
