The best bands I saw there apart from Muse were Powderfinger (aussie band) and the Temper Trap, though other bands that I missed/only saw parts of were Eskimo Joe (another aussie band) and Passion Pit, though I've seen them both anyway :wacky:

I also saw Dizzee Rascal, and though I'm not usually into that sort of stuff he was really good!!

The best part was that I went to the Melbourne leg of the festival :wacko: I love Melbourne

So just so I'm prepared for later this week, how is Passion Pit's live show? Because I've heard a lot of good things and also a lot of bad things. On record, I like only a handful of their songs. :/

I really can't see why people wouldn't like Passion Pit, they were great! The ENTIRE crowd (which had to have been about 20 - 25 thousand people) were dancing and jumping up and down and going crazy! Unfortunately I wasn't in the thick of the mosh, as they were playing on the last night of a huge 3-day festival and I was exhausted lol, but I would have loved to have been in there! I've definitely see them again :awesome:

I'm going to the second show in LA (the 26th) in addition to Anaheim. But not the first LA date, unless someone needs to get rid of a GA ticket last-minute, which I doubt anyone does.

They're opening for Muse, so I'll be seeing them twice in the next week. :P

To be honest, I think some of their songs are really annoying. Especially "Sleepyhead". I know it's popular but I can't stand it. Creepy chipmunk sounds. On the other hand, "Moth's Wings" and "To Kingdom Come" are pretty good songs, so I assume I'll enjoy at least a part of their set.
