I don't think the vocal effect works, but it's an interesting mix of things.

Well it's the kind of style I try to create/recreate. The original song is by Warpaint which creates this kind of hmm gloomy, mysterious music. That's also the way I compose so I like using those kind of weird effects. That's why I ask if you like it or not because I've already received some critics about my previous covers and now I just want to know if people are ok with this weird style.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I think it's interesting, but it's not something I'd choose to listen to.

I posted it here so people can comment it. I'm also an honest person (what you can see in other topics ._.) and I appreciate telling the truth. I sent that to different kind of people and they liked it very much. I didn't even tell them it was me so I think they were also honest. I just wanted to show it to a lot more people (though this thread isn't the best place after all cause almost no one visits : D) cause then I can get different opinions. But after all it's a Coldplay forum so most people prefer the kind of stuff Coldplay creates. Btw. I thought about what I wrote to you earlier and that wasn't a whole truth. I'm not only inspired by Warpaint but by Coldplay as well. It just depends on which instrument I play. I have some of my songs composed on piano so I may post them when they'll be done with the band (I'm not the frontmen but I'm a piano player and backing vocal so I also create some material which we sometimes use) so I'll maybe send it once done.

I like it. :) Yes, it is strange, but there's two different kinds of strange: good and bad. This is what I'd call the good strange. The effects are very different, and I think they're interesting. To be honest, this is the kind of stuff I wish I could hear more of--you know, what most people would be too scared to try because it is so different from the norm. I'd say good job! :)
