Scoring System

 

Countdown will probably be done by me and Space Cadet!

I just wanted her to have a look at the results and calculations before starting, because I am a n00b in this and she took the initiative in the first place.

 

Some warming up:

• the amount of albums is less than last year.

• We got more voters, however, and more albums got multiple votes.

• Only one album got more than 30 votes.

• Anyone wants to guess the Top 5? :P

Wyrd has graciously agreed to take over the first part of the countdown, so I will step aside and hand this over to her as soon as she is ready.

 

Until that time, talk amongst yourselves. Who won? Who didn't live up to expectations? Who came out of nowhere? Are Coldplay still kings of the board? Anyone want to bet on the top 5? (Bonus points if you get it in order) Which albums will still be remembered 20 years from now? :gossip:

When should we start. Should I already slowly give the first ones, or do people prefer a certain time that we start with this?

Later on, I can also give the top 10 that we would have had if we used a simple counting system like
