So, theres this party coming up on this weekend and my girlfriend wanted me to go so she can watch me get drunk, but im uncomfortable about doing that since i dont like the type of crowd thats gonna be there (Drunk Rednecks, which im not.) so i said i didnt want to go but ill go if shes still going just to watch out for her, she wont be going. now she's telling me that i cant go because ill be too protective.

 

 

And now we are fighting because i dont want her to go to a party with a bunch of drunk guys, and shes saying that im being too protective, annoying, and untrusting...

 

 

So what should i do about this :shame:

If I were you, I think the best option is to just apologise for coming across as controlling - say you were just worried about her and stand by her decision to go. If she wants to go, she will go anyway and if she can't be trusted to go to a party by herself for a night then it's better off knowing now than later.
