I'm here to support Bad Lip Reading and curse at EMI for screaming copy right infringement at something that is clearly a parody and 100% legal. Companies that do this should be punished.

i'm assuming the copyright issue has to do with the video itself, not the song...

Don't mean to be a know-it-all but it's technically 'against the rules' (ehem... illegal). For BLR to use visuals (In My Place music video) which is a big no-no for YouTube partners. Some companies care, others don't. Unfortunately this one is notorious for caring a lot.

plus the fact that a lot of the time this stuff is just run through a filter which can't exactly differentiate between straight-up copyright infringement and other uses of copyrighted material which fall within the legal limits.
