It is quite witless to be intentionally ignorant like "who dat?" when someone actually dies when nearly everyone won't know who he is, it's not like it's just some celeb story- the guy died. I can't say I loved Tony Scott's films, but he loved The Righteous Brothers "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" and included it in Top Gun, so that's something. What a sad end, inoperable brain cancer and then having to decide to kill yourself.
