I like X&Y because there are only decent to great songs on it, but I think it's too long, the lyrics are a great step back, and too many songs sound alike. But it's definitely an album that deserves to be heard. Also, according to you I must be deaf. :p

AROBTTH definetely wins it for me. Absolutely love it.

X&Y makes me think of Batman. This album only gets played at night. Nobody know's it exists. It's songs are deep and meaningful. And nobody can explain where they go. :laugh3:

 

But seriously, Swallowed in the Sea should have been in Fix You's place. Or at least next to it. It's just as good. I mean, listen to this.

X & Y is my favourite album :dazzled: ,it's the only Coldplay album that I absolutely love every single song on it. It's so underrated and forgotten :(. AROBTTH is good also but I don't get as excited for it like when I listen to X & Y.

X&Y is a great album, but I can't compare it to AROBTTH.

 

X&Y was great when I was in my early teens, and it still is, but I would still skip more songs on it, than AROBTTH.

 

This is touching. Swallowed In The Sea is incredible.

I think Yellow would be slower, and in this version is quite different acoustic piano so emotional, touching and all a version that enters the soul just to float.

I don't think it is better, but still it's my favourite album. Yes I am logic :no::lol:

 

What I mean is that I prefer X&Y for personal, emotional reasons, but I agree with people who think AROBTTH is better for other reasons, as I think it is a masterpiece and arguably one of their 2 best albums, along with VLV. However I do think X&Y is underrated.
