I got a serious adrenaline rush....and it did not even happen. Ahhhhh, humans are insane sometimes. He is crazy!

When Kittinger did it from not quite as high he had no idea what was really going to happen, and also wasn't aware that when he jumped although he would be falling, there was no air resistance, so he probably just thought he was stuck there. That's insane.

yes! what kittinger felt must have been amazing! not to know if you are drifting into space or not.. wow!

 

 

i read on an austrian tv station's webpage that the next possible launch is scheduled on thursday.

they will broadcast it as well. but there is no fixed timetable for felix baumgartner yet.

Meteorologist Don Day confirmed a Thursday launch is not possible. The next weather window opens on Sunday October 14th.

That update wasn't very in-depth about the chances, but as it stands right now there are still weather conditions stopping this.
