I think I saw a pair of Muse ones once. :thinking:

 

Anyway, I've got four pairs: a high-top pair in light blue and three low-top pairs in brown, purple, and plaid. I used to also have this pair of Airwalks that was like a black Converse-wannabe. I really loved those.

Just talking about Muse reminds me of Dom's silver ones and makes me wish I had a pair like his.

I have a black pair which are about 8 years old now. And I bought a new maroon pair this summer. They're super popular here. It took me weeks to get a pair of them.

I really like Converse. I have one pair, and when I abuse them to the point of being unwearable, I buy another one. The ones I have right now are a light yellow. :smiley:

 

Yeah they're poor quality shoes, they get holes and the rubber becomes detached from the canvas within a femtosecond of wearing them. And if it's raining outside and you're wearing them, you're fucked.

 

But I just really like the design of them, they truly look good with anything. And they're cheap, I never pay more than $10-20 for them (at outlets and those department stores where they take leftovers from the mall and sell them for cheap, hahah I don't know what they're called)

 

But I feel sorta shit about wearing them cos they are Nike shoes, and Nike is notorious for sweatshop labor. I mean, I very much doubt it's the only article of clothing I own that was made in a sweatshop, but :sad:

 

There are some Gorillaz Converse that I really want, $60 is ridiculous but it's quite tempting

But really, not all crocs are extremely ugly. The original ones are not the most stylish, but I had a pair that didn't even look like crocs.

I have red crocs. I only wear them when I let my dog out, so it's all good.

Haha! I just had this image come to my head. So, a few years ago, when I was in Mongolia, all my friends had converse. And you know, in Asia you alway take your shoes off before you enter the house or at the doorway. So when we'd have a party or something, there'd be a like ten pairs of conversion the floor. :awesome: but now they're all into toms.

TOMS are a nice concept (buy a pair, provide a pair for a child in need), but everyone I've talked to about them says they're not durable at all. (Apparently, they don't last even a year before they're unwearable.)
