I think they're referring more to the crocs style, not the brand, which has since branched off because their flagship style markets to the mentally unstable

The brand "Crocs" has some cool shoes but the shoes that are normally called crocs are rather ugly...but they do have little whatchamacallits to put in the wholes. :P

Here in the U.K. the cheapest pair of converse all star shoes ive seen are £42

I love my 2 Converses, they are cheaper than other shoes, confortable and I like the style. I have a deep blue classic one and a green with that little star on the side.

I really like Converse. I have one pair, and when I abuse them to the point of being unwearable, I buy another one. The ones I have right now are a light yellow. :smiley:

 

Yeah they're poor quality shoes, they get holes and the rubber becomes detached from the canvas within a femtosecond of wearing them. And if it's raining outside and you're wearing them, you're fucked.

 

But I just really like the design of them, they truly look good with anything. And they're cheap, I never pay more than $10-20 for them (at outlets and those department stores where they take leftovers from the mall and sell them for cheap, hahah I don't know what they're called)

 

But I feel sorta shit about wearing them cos they are Nike shoes, and Nike is notorious for sweatshop labor. I mean, I very much doubt it's the only article of clothing I own that was made in a sweatshop, but :sad:

 

There are some Gorillaz Converse that I really want, $60 is ridiculous but it's quite tempting

I'm not really sure, given that when I buy shoes, I go to Shoe Carnival, and they usually have a "buy 1 get 1 1/2 off" deal where I can get them pretty cheap.

My favourite shoes ever are heels.

Mine look almost exactly like this, but are shinier. These are even same size as my.

I can't walk in heels and they are so uncomfy, plus I simply prefer to see Converse.

These are really not uncomfortable and they're easy to balance on because of the thick heel they have. Anyways, it's too hot here to wear converse. I just wear flip-flops most of the time.

I wore my favourite converse to a concert and was in a mosh pit, they got ruined.

Unpopular opinion time- I've never liked converse, I think the way the back goes way up past the ankle looks ridiculous and the kinds that don't have that are way too low, but even other then that I think they look goofy.

^ I sort of agree, though I like the low ones on guys...
