I watched it a few days ago on the tv!! I couldn't avoid say to my mother "look! it's baby Chrissyphant!" :lol: it's so cute :nice:

I felt uplifted, but also sad because so many elephants are being slaughtered for their ivory and babies like this one are being orphaned. I hope everyone sees this video so they can know how very beautiful these animals are, they are very compassionate and family-oriented.

The part where the baby is running around trying to find it's mother is so amazing :dazzled:

What a lovely video - the moment of joy and relief when the baby elephant is free again and starts to run towards its mother and the reunion. :heart: and tears in my eyes.

I love Elephants, even before Coldplay, I have always followed the Amboselli Elephants. Such amazing beautiful creatures.

 

They are so so intelligent, and do really seem to feel what we feel for family. They have incredibly long memories, and long lives, Which like kitty bitty says, makes it even MORE dreadful when they are slaugtered for ivory. It makes me cry just thinking of it.
