hmm okay

Let's do some questions that are actually pretty answerable and thought-provoking

Is it truly worth it to die for a family member or friend? Yes, you’d be a hero, but that person would feel guilty for your death for the rest of their lives. Is that “brave” act actually cowardly because you’re transferring the guilt that you’d have felt if you did nothing and watched them die to your friend, who has to deal with the guilt of causing your death?

Wow...I'd actually love to hear the Oracle's answer to that.

Personally, assuming I had the courage, I would be willing to die for a complete stranger. So I feel I would owe it to my own family to make the same sacrifice.

You hear stories of heroism like this all the time, and although 'Survivor Guilt' must be very painful to cope with, these stories inspire others to take that risk and make a sacrifice. They bring out the desire in us to do good and protect those we love.

So I would have to say we should be willing to die for family even though their survival will cause them guilt, if only for the good of those who witness that self-sacrifice.

I'm a fan of rhetorical questions, so I'll ask a few of those. Starting with...

If a vampire has no reflection, how do they always have such immaculate hair?

Pretty good. Sitting up waiting for the Ozzy gig to start...could be a long night, lol.

Zombie hairdressers? But surely they're not mobile enough to operate scissors like that...?

Oh well. What do I know?

Next question: Is a zebra a white horse with black stripes or a black horse with white stripes?

Ahhh...but that's what makes the Zombie hairdressers so good at their job. They never rush. It takes all night, but it's worth it!

A Zebra is actually a purple horse with black and white stripes. ;p

I don't think it's being streamed, but I'm going to follow the gig thread and post some pics if Tash isn't on line...which she probably will be. She never sleeps, lol.

It doesn't start til 3am our time though, so I might not make it.

yeah time difference sucks. I'm usually here at night but some days, I can't really stay long

We don't see you around as much anymore.Nice to see you here when you have the time.:D We have a bunch of really amazing new members, but I miss the 'good old days' sometimes.

I had to take a couple of long breaks from the forum, but I could never leave permanently.:)

I'm actually studying right now but I keep refreshing this page:P work, school, and life gets in the way sometimes. I still check the forum regularly and moderate, but I don't really posts unless it's necessary

Well it's great to see you. Good luck with exams. (That time of year, right?)

I'm lucky. I keep a musician's crazy hours, and this time of year I don't work as much as I'd like, so I have WAY too much time to kill on here, lol.

What is love not-the-oracle?

Thanks! I have 3 weeks left and about 20 things to do that are school related :( I have 5 exams to take before the finals so I'm taking the time to study for them and start doing the stupid essays I have to write.

Lucky you! :nice:

Some say love, it is a river

that drowns the tender reed.

Some say love, it is a razor

that leaves your soul to bleed.

Some say love, it is a hunger.

And endless, aching need...

I say love, it is a flower,

and you its only seed...
