What was the last movie you saw?

Featured Replies

theatre: LOTR

rented: part of "abre los ojos"

I want to see "the pianist" too

Abre los ojos? Woooow, is it available to rent it there? I can't believe it!!

Although I recommend you 'Tesis', the first movie of Amenabar. In my opinion it's better... ;)

Cute avatar Noni! What is Tesis about? I heard about it,but have nver seen it.

Thanks, Gisela! Yeah, Pucca is nice... :smug:

'Tesis' is a thriller about a university student who wanna make her thesis about violence in the communication. And she found out these snuff movies and try to know more.

I like it and I recommend you. It's quite good being a debut movie...

But the last movie I saw on the movies was Love Actually. It´s nice and cute!

I loved that movie - I just love Hugh Grant.

The last movie I saw was Cold Mountain. I wrote a review on it in the "Cold Mountain" thread. I like it a lot.

That was just a nice, heart-warming movie ...

... well, except the Thompson-Rickman storyline.

Yeah he is cute but i prefer Rodrigo Santoro(the guy who the character of Laura Linney loved)and Colin Firth is gorgeous!

I really enjoyed the Colin Firth story line, although why is it that every movie he's in with Hugh Grant his wife end up cheating on him?

I like your avatar.

I watched Se7en this afternoon. Second time seeing it but I have to say it's a prime movie. Morgan Freeman is always tops :D

Ah ... the movie that threw Gwynie into the mainstream. She was good in that ...

That' a David FIncher movie ... he's one of my favorite directors (think Fight Club and The Game as well as Seven).

Yeah she really was :) It was disappointing to see her head in a box in the ending though.

"Awww ... what's in the box?"

 Surprise Brad!! It's Gwynnie's head! Aww...I would have comforted him. :wink3:

You distract him ... I'll make my move on Jennifer.

ahh Seven...that movie was great! made you feel kind of yucky at the end...but it was a good story

You distract him ... I'll make my move on Jennifer.

 Sounds good

Just don't tell Noni. She might not come into the thread, so let's just keep this a secret.

Down Low by R. Kelly ... good song.

That was my petty attempt at being ghetto :P

I'm not sure what to think of R Kelly. There were a few songs of his that I liked but since I heard Thoia Thoing it was like phhhhttbhthh ew he's annoying

That's pretty much what I think of him: A few songs I really like (I Believe I can Fly, Ignition, Down Low) but his style of R&B isn't my thing. I much prefer Maxwell or Wusiq ... crooners who come from the Marvin Gaye school.

I'm not a real fan of R&B to be honest. I have my "groove songs" like Pony by Ginuwine and Hey Ya but that's about it. :D

Even though it fits right into mainstream pop, I don't think that R&B is necessarily the most accessible of genres.
