Could a band be considered one of your favorite bands, even if you only have one album by them but really enjoy it?

yes one of my favourite bands has only released one album and isn't likely to release another

yeah I think they can. Its like Muse, I only have one of their albums, but I still consider them to be one of my fave bands. I don't think it matters really :P I can just get mp3's instead :D ;)

Ok then. :D Yeah...I love System of A Down, Stone Temple Pilots, Alien Ant Farm, AFI...you name it. I only have one cd by them. :lol: :D Except for the store bought copy of Toxicity by SOAD... I made my own version.. The original has 14 songs, and my edited version has 25 songs... :stunned:

i burned pp first cd but i dont think that really counts and bought the second one.

i say yes, because if you like them, then you like them. (although you should invest some time or money in hearing some of the other stuff :P )

I don't think there are any rules as to what your favourite bands should be... except for that, you know, you have to like them.

I would say as long as you don't see faults in their other works then that one work can shine. If their other albums show some kind of limitation to their musicianship, then it's almost impossible not to view that album you like as an exception. It's hard for a band to be a favorite on those terms.
