Guess coldplay song

Hmm, that's kind of hard, IAmSue... Let me barge in with an easier one:

Jesus can walk on water.

I can walk on cucumbers.

Cucumbers are 96% water.

Therefore, I’m 96% Jesus.

Okay, well let's try @iamsue's riddle until someone guesses it or @I ran away comes up with another one

If only I were familiar with Prince's songs...

Thanks. I was about to withdraw it. I don't want anyone subjected to reading Prince's often-filthy lyrics in search of an answer. I was just thinking of the cleaner ones. Reading others, now, makes me think it's not appropriate to send Coldplayers searching many of his other songs, that I didn't know. That was the thing about Prince: Brilliant musician, humanitarian and individual not afraid of shock value. I definitely don't condone his lyrics. I'm glad we can be proud of Coldplay's! FYI, I was thinking of Little Red Corvette and Up and Up - "fixing Up A Car", When Doves Cry and Fly On - lamenting "maybe some day I will fly with you" and Fury to Charlie Brown - a rose.

Oops- my browser wasn't up to date and I didn't see this. I just gave mine away. I'll try to think of a better one. I loved yours, Guy4!

Coldplay for the win!

Thanks!

I mis-represented Prince's lyrics a bit. He also wrote about religious themes. In fact, I was just shocked to learn he wrote a song called What If? (Another Coldplay comparison! This one turns out to be one of my favorite Contemporary Christian songs, as recorded by Nicole Nordeman. Worth a look. Here's an interim riddle:

Humpty Dumpty and a bottle of aspirin.

I could have never guessed that, I don't know any Prince songs really...but I thought you were maybe referring to Purple Rain and the line in Everglow "perfect purple" - well I was wrong :D

The new riddle will be up very soon, I promise !

Ghost Story? "Every time I try to walk through walls"

Wait, Prince wrote a Christian song?

Ghost Story? "Every time I try to walk through walls"

Wait, Prince wrote a Christian song?

It appears so. I read the lines and it is definitely the song I know. No to Ghost Story, but like the walking through walls connection to both Humpty Dumpty and aspirin!

What was Humpty Dumpty after his fall? That word is in this song.

Politik? "Cracks that fix"

or

Animals? "Crumble and fall"

Or X&Y? "When something is broken and you try to fix it"

No to all. Very relevant guesses to Humpty Dumpty. We are looking for a word that is a more extreme version of "cracked". Then focus on the aspirin. It might help Humpty Dumpty deal with part of his pain. Find that pain and one song that used both the word describing him and the reason for the aspirin.

Help Is Around the Corner?

"And I'm shattered but it doesn't really matter"

I think I have to go and Google Humpty Dumpty first

Magic?

And I just got broken

Broken into two

You will need magic instead of aspirine to be able to fix it

Guy[emoji106] you nailed it! The aspirin related to the line, "and my head just won't stop aching, which was part of the same verse. Great job! I Ran Away, technically tied for finding another verse that fit!!! Take it away, if you are ready. Otherwise, Guy, over to you!
