I Ran Away...enjoy your meal![emoji513]

Thanks :) It was delicious.

On the way home now, so expect the riddle really soon :D

EDIT: At home now. I just need to do some research for my riddle, cause this will be a really elaborate one !

Here it is. I hope you like it because I really wracked my brains to make this riddle after I did some less popular ones recently, and hope to perhaps match the great riddles we have recently seen from the likes of iamsue, Nie and guy42.

1. From the top of the first (page) album, to the end of the last (day) album - it doesn't matter which album it was !

2.

When I was at 0:50, I tried to listen. Don't you wanna feel like that ?

Both clues converge on the same principle. Find this principle circumscribed in a Coldplay song !

I havent even listened to that song and Ive already given up lol....good luck everyone!

I'm afraid she has scared me a little, too.

I'll think about it, though. :)

Don't be scared away ! I didnt mean to say it's difficult, I just wanted to say that I put a lot of thought behind it :)

And by the way teamwork might be better, so guess away (with reasonings)

Sounds like a challenge!

After I have wracked my brains at work I will give it a listen.

I couldn't resist and listened to the video. :laugh2:

The first idea that it brings into my head was that it sounded like a "conversation of birds" but I didn't get much further with that yet.

Clue 1 brings me to Square One and clue 2 to White shadows.

What both songs have in common is :

- deciphering codes in you - I need a compass, draw me a map

- things you never understand - part of a system, a plan

Makes me think that we have to look for a song which describes some kind of "search".

Combined with the Birds conversation idea I got to this one:

Animals

--> I am looking for an answer just like you, but I should know which way to turn.

Animals is not at any album.

What do you think team "Guess coldplay song"? or

Any other ideas?

All I could think of is Speed Of Sound for these reasons:

1) There's a resemblance with the song she posted (I first thought of Clocks, but they're both similar in terms of melody)

2) Nie talked about conversations among birds, and SOS has lyrics referring to birds.

3) All the clues are X&Y-era related and talk about beginning and ending (start to finish), and the lyrics of the song say "How long before I get in? Before it starts, before I begin? I start before I can stop... etc etc"

About the "birds thing", they have a very important role in the Cinderella story too. [emoji4]

Wow very elaborate guesses but unfortunately nothing correct so far ! I'll give some more hints so this doesn't go off in the wrong direction.

- Clue 2 has nothing to do with Cinderella or birds, it is a purely musical clue. The melody does not relate to Speed of Sound.

- Clue 1 describes a phenomenon that every Coldplay album so far displays

I had no expectation at all that I would have it after 1 go. [emoji1]

Bummer. I'm hopeless in finding musical similarities so I'm gonna rely on others for that.

Well birds was 1 of them so let's see what else...

Another day, another attempt to crack this. [emoji4]

I'm still thinking that the 2 songs might have something to do with that "phenomenon " but I haven't yet figured out what.

I'm going to have a little brainstorm here so maybe someone else can pick up on it...

Typical Coldplay things:

- Chris: piano or acoustic guitar

- slowly build up: first Chris and then the others fall in

- hidden songs

- 1 Chris only song on each album?

- repetition

I already thought of the first two things as well...

But I can't find them in any coldplay songs...

Aren't all albums 42 minutes...

And all have themes or stories...

I was thinking that if we have to find something that they all have in common, it is going to be hard to find the song that @I ran away wants. [emoji4]

Do we have to look for "the stranger in our midst"?

That melody is still not ringing any bells.

Aren't all albums 42 minutes...

X&Y is longer

No to all.....

As for Clue 1, look at song patterns in albums !

You probably mean musically wise?
