No, not at all, There are all types of traditions different nationalities have regarding funerals, but I don't think taking a selfie is one of them. You would never pull out a camera at a funeral but with the whole "phone being attached to our hands" thing.............. who knows

Why on earth would I take a selfie at a funeral?!

The picture shows the Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning Schmidt taking a selfie of herself between US President Barack Obama and UK Prime Minister Cameron.

 

It was taken at a MEMORIAL SERVICE with music and dance and not at the actual funeral that was on the following Sunday (i.e. on Sunday 15.12.13).

 

So probably it is excuseable as such, but I must admit that I did not like it.

 

And I would definitely not take a selfie at any funeral.

^Fireworks for New Year. And from where I live (on 5th floor European standard / I think it is 6th floor US standard) there is a pretty view of the fireworks in the neighborhood and beyond :nice:
