Well, technically, we're getting three b-sides on the Target edition of Ghost Stories. They may not be bundled with singles, but I still see them as b-sides. Anyway, most artists nowadays don't release b-sides. I think it has something to do with that everyone buys from digital retailers now.

Basically this. B-sides have sort of been replaced by the "Deluxe" versions of albums.

Sad but true. I like how the Arctic Monkeys still came out with some quality b-sides last year though.

Another way artists are getting non-album material out there is through release of non-album singles. Radiohead released four in the last 5 years. So, b-sides are definitely dead, but I think there will still be non-LP songs.

EDIT: B-sides are not dead, they're just remixes of the single nowadays. Or the remix can be the single like ASFOS....

I just stumbled across a song called gravity which was on the talk ep and wow what a song! Best coldplay song ive heard in ages!
