London: Speculations regarding Coldplay planning a surprise performance at Glastonbury 2014 are increasing rapidly.

According to reports, Chris Martin is a close friend with the festival founder Michael Eavis family and plans to attend the farm event from June 25 to 29, which led to rumors that the group might be surprise special guests on the Park Stage.

 

The band had already confirmed that they will cover only two UK shows at London`s Royal Albert Hall on July 1 and 2 providing hint that the band might make surprise appearance."

You just never know if one of the other bands get sick or can't make it.

Saw the latest advert clip for Glastonbury during half time break in the Brazil v Mexico and there was coldplay on there now!

 

Could they be performing???

Glastonbury 2014 Secret Sets: 12 (Hopeful) Suggestions

Coldplay The Eavis’ best mates Coldplay could well make an appearance this year. They’ve released another Number 1 album in 2014 and will surely be in the country at the time, with their London Royal Albert Hall dates falling on the 1st and 2nd of July. That would be a great surprise!

On the site the opening act for the ''Other Stage'' is listed as TBA (shouldn't everything be announced by now? :p) So it's a possibility :D

Kaiser Chiefs opens the Other stage Friday at pm, they confirmed it on their Twitter.
