I just heard about this from my Aunt a couple of days ago, but the actual event occurred a few years ago. My aunt was in London and she was going with her friend to a sushi restaurant. As they were walking in, my aunts friend was telling my aunt about how Chris and Gwyneth lived a few houses down from her and they were friends. My aunt liked Coldplay, it wasn't her favorite band, but she had it on her iPod, and she was amazed that her friend lived so close and was friends with Chris and Gwyneth.

 

So they start eating sushi and Chris and Gwyeneth come in along with on of the Coldplay band members. I think it was Jonny or Guy, but all she could remember is that he was tall and regular size (so it wasn't Will).

Anyway, they both are really surprised so they watch Chris and them sit down.

 

Gwyeneth comes over to say hi to my aunts friend, and they talk. She said that Fix You was written because her dad died. Anyway, the restaurant eventually asked my aunt to leave because they had finished their food and they were loitering.

 

Unfortunatley my aunt didn't talk with Chris or the other band member.

She was acting so casual about it when she told me! I told her, there a lot of people (including me) who would do a lot to see what you saw.

Wow, that's so cool! Imagine being at a restaurant casually enjoying your dinner then having Chris walk in with one of the other boys. Maybe we should all try hang out in places near where they live :P x

I acually dreamed that once! I was having dinner in some restaurant with a bunch of classmates and suddenly Coldplay entered, all in suits :dead: for some reason I didn't go up to them to say hi but I kept staring at Guy and at a certain moment he stared back and I was like *looks to the other side* I totally wasn't looking at you :whistle:

 

So weird!
