Life In Technicolor II Dark Piano Outro

Featured Replies

Hello Coldplayers,

I had this leaked version of 'Life In Technicolor II' which had a dark piano outro of around a minute and a half. The album version does not have that outro. Unfortunately, the song got deleted from my computer while cleaning my computer. Since then, I've been looking for it for many years now but cannot find it anywhere. Recently got to know about this forum. Hopefully some of you guys might have it.

Thanks.

I've never heard of that :surprised:

^ Same here, that sounds very interesting though!

I wanna hear this. Never heard of it.

Haha ^

Never rung a bell for me! Would love to hear it though. Sounds like one of those obscure fan edits which are often the best mixes but they have like 42 views on Youtube then disappear off the face of the earth!

Haha ^

That's probably exactly what it is, and it happens all the time!

Could be. OP does say "leaked" though?

It does exist guys and its definitely not fan made. Because the piano music is typical Coldplay, its more beautiful than reign of love piano music .I had probably downloaded it in 08/09.I had it for 2 years. Even though I had the album version I always preferred this. It inspired me to take up piano which I did later though now I'm on a break due to academics. Dig deeper guys some of you might have it. I remember that the song ends at around 3:50 later after 30 secs the piano starts, goes on for more than a minute and a half. Man, I cannot tell you how bad I'm feeling that I lost it. I've been searching it ever since, I hope I get the privilege to hear it again.

Hi there. So, this isn't quite what you're looking for (it's The Escapist and not Life in Technicolor II), but it's the best fit I could find! It incorporates the end of Jon Hopkins' "Light Through the Veins." If this isn't it I hope you still enjoy it... I've always thought this was a wonderful edit : D
