Maybe some people think their lyrics are non-sense but that's because they can't see the metaphore the Coast use...

'Cactus in the door' is the best example.

Indeed it is.

The real meaning of the lyrics really just fly over some people's head! I think that's why it's taken them a while to establish a solid fanbase!

Personally, I know I don't get some of the lyrics. That's OK, though. There are just some things that I can't relate to. Like "Dark for Two Days." I see on one level what the song is about, but I've never really done anything on that level, so I can't relate.

I know what you mean, you need a lot of life-experience to fully appreciate the songs!

Still bloody good though!

Yeeah, I agree... Some lyrics are difficult to understand. But I've had some wild experiences in my life and I'm able to feel them true...

Wow :stunned:

Even 'Under the Influence'?

Buuuuf, it takes me a big effort, but finally, yeah, I got it...

You must know that I'm just 26, but I've lived hard experiences...

You must really love listening to their music then, even more than most hardcore fans!

Can't wait for new album!

Oooooh, I can't wait either!! And I've heard they're gonna release a dvd too!!

Whoooo-hoooo!! :D

Really? That'll be amazing! Do you know which show will be on it? I hope they do a documentary like Coldplay did :stunned:

I think it will be a documentary, exclusive pics and performances, interviews, video-clips and lots of stuff.

And the show will be the one they did in Reykjavik, do you remember? They played outside, in a big stage near the cold lakes...

Yeah, I didn't see it but I managed to get a boot of it, it sounded amazing.

I hope there are lots of exclusive pics of Jake, mmm.

Oooh, I can't wait :D

Jake... yuuuuummy!! :D

I have to go now, Mimi. I've had lots of fun tonite here. Thanks God I've met more NC fans here. Richard and you are the best!! :D

Take care and good luck getting a job!

Okay, good luck with your film (I'm sure you don't need it!)

See ya my fellow NC fan :D

I guess the NCs pulle dout of Coachella. They weren't announced as part of the show. That totally sucks. it's been too long snce I was able to see them.

Really??? I wonder why, they usually stick to their word when it comes to gigs :/

Ooooh, it's sad!! And strange too 'cause they said they really wanted to go to Coachella...

But... :sneaky: Benicassim will rock!! :D

They're not gonna cancel it, nooooooo!!! Because we three, the greatest fans, will be there!!! :D

You can read their minds, so you must know anyway. So if say they'll play, then they'll play.

YAY :D

    Yeeeeah, I read their minds and there will be interesting things in that festival... :wink3:

Really...this festival sounds better and better :wink3:

Dude!

I was just listening to their second album, "Last Call," and I noticed that, in the background of this one song ... it sounds like there's somebody vomitting!

Ew!

It's really faint. It's in the background of "The Last Thing I Remember."

Actually, the more I think about it, the cooler it seems.
