Hope you're well.

I was wondering if there was ever a petition from this website to Coldplay in order to release the DVD "Coldplay Live in Barcelona (2009)".

On youtube, I found a video published by vandreop which states that there was a petition, but the "oracle" said: "Awww that's very sweet of fans to care so much about a DVD but there are no plans to release one and in this case a petition can't change that decision... whether 714 signatures on it or 71400!"

Is this true?
If so, can someone post the link of the response please.

On this website,  @GamingForeverAUS published a clip of VLV. 
In addition, the tv program "BoomBox All Access" featured on the episode interviewing Coldplay's members snippets from the show in Barcelona.

It seems this DVD will virtually  never be released.

I have read the thread of the show and seemingly there was sound problems.

I found this petition (well, kind of) for a VLV tour DVD in the forum,
not Live in Barcelona specifically but this might be what the Oracle said No to.

Yup. Even Roadie 42 wrote about the sound issues on his blog. Loved the stage design of the VLV Stadium Tour. Maybe one day it will leak?

It seems true as I've found another website that the same answer were posted as the Oracle's answer, but unfortunately the actual response you're looking for is not archived on Wayback Machine.

There might be someone on here who screen-captured the answer back then though!
