I looked up to see a tall man standing in front of me. He gave me a short glare with the bright blue eyes I’ve seen far too many times and quickly looked away again to continue dancing wildly in the sea of confetti. I knew exactly who he was. My idol. The person who I have looked up to for so many years.

 

As he bounced across the stage, I couldn’t help but notice his ridiculously perfect blonde hair and his toned arms being tossed up into the air. I smiled to myself just watching him sing and spin around uncontrollably. It felt like I’ve known him for ages, like he was one of my best friends. The best friend who is hilarious and adorable and has the smile that can make everyone else in the room smile. Even if he doesn’t know who I am, I will always know he is, Chris Martin.
