it is so truee!, and i remember when i used to play the bass, some song where really difficult to play, Guy made some song very difficult to be played :P, he is such a talented bass player! :)

he's really not though... if you want genuinely talented bass playing look at somebody like Jaco Pastorius... Coldplay's basslines are simple and hard to hear and easy to play..

Tbh there's really no way that he puts all his oomph into his Coldplay basslines. It doesn't matter if they're easy, they compliment the songs and if they're hard to hear then that's either the mixer's fault or you just suck at listening for bass. :p (:kiss:)

You can't play for as long and as often as he's played and not be talented. But it's of course silly for anyone to say he's the best ever.

Viva la vida is a great example of how people can make bass disappear.

I miss X&Y and Parachutes bass. T_T
