I listened to A Wave again and I’m wondering if it’ll make it, if it’s not being used as a MM b-side. It makes sense as a musical ending.

If a Wave isn't on MM then hopefully either 11 or it could be on the live album at the very end.

It would be a waste if it was a live album exclusive. It deserves a proper release

Eh, “full version“ is overselling it. It’s the Nile Rodgers mix snippet (about a minute), then it’s the bass line pulled out and slapped over the original demo we’ve heard. You can tell because there are places where it very obviously sounds smashed together or just…really badly mixed. So it’s a bit of a fraud right now, LOL!

Impatience finally got the better of me and I had to check out the snippet of 2 Aliens. It sounds absolutely magnificent. New obsession unlocked.

2 Aliens was on several whiteboards before this, praying it makes it in some form. If they vault it forever then grrr, but it would be a very Coldplay thing to do. 

On reflection it's pretty damn close to the leaked tracklist. No UFO or 2 Aliens, and Moon Song isn't listed (although if it's just an ambient interlude it might not need to be) but everything else is pretty much the same, including One World as the closer.

Also, we have to remember previous whiteboard 'leaks'. I don't think we've ever seen a final tracklist on them (that could change this time, but still).
