I hated Lost In Translation and LOVE this movie! Go see it! :)

I loved Lost in Translation, so if Eternal Sunshine is anything like it, I will love it too.

i liked enternal sunshine a lot, i don't think it's God's gift to cinimatic history or the 'worlds greatest acid trip' like some over-dramatic people have claimed it to be. it's just a nice original story that provides us all with a new idea to think about.

Lost in Translation WAS brilliant. :P

But I don't get it! How was it brilliant? It was just really boring to me. :confused:

I really liked it because of how well I could feel and relate to the desparate loneliness of the main characters.

Ok, but was there even a plot? :/

Of course there was a plot! The not-quite-romance between the characters, would it go anywhere, COULD it go anywhere, etc.

 

That was another thing I could really relate to.

Eternal Sunshine was good but I need to go and see it again to decide whether I really like it or not. There's so many twists that I was concentrating too much on trying to understand what was happening.
