Hmm.. I noticed a few cd's I just made.. well... I put them in my father's sterio (which is the same kind I have), and only a few tracks would play. Then, I put it in my sterio... and all it did was say no disc. Uh.. what the hell? :angry: :/

Sometimes that happens. I know this sounds stupid but you did convert them to wav right? Or does your stereo play mp3s?

I dont even know about either of those things... All I know is I download the tunes from WinMX and use Nero Burning Rom.

Hmm well sometimes, with me anyway, if i download mp3s I have to convert them into .wav files (songs on cds are .wav files) in order to play them on a sterio, if i know im just going to play the cd on the pc i wont bother converting it. I dunno though.

Nah. I don't think that's the problem. Maybe it's the cd's, because I swear I've had this problem before with the same brand of cd's...

Yep some cds are dodgy.

The thing is, it seems like I've bought them before and they were fine. Hmm... Maybe that's why they were only nine dollars.. :lol: :dozey:

That's my problem too sometimes. I have to convert to .wav files for them to play on my stereo.

Mine do that sumtimes aswell...but most of the time they work, i play them in my cd player anyways not usualy my sterio :)

I've never converted them before, and I's don't think zat teh problem. :P

whenever i burn a cd i have to finalize the session before i can play them on stereos or other cd players, and i've never had a problem yet. maybe that's your problem. :confused:

I got it Christmas of 2002.

hmmm......disk problem most likely then. I once bought mini-discs for $20.00 and none of them worked. I taped an entire interview with my subject for an article and the disk didn't record any of it. BASTARDS!
