You know it's too humid when...

Featured Replies

The sun is out and shining brightly, but you can't see the Philadelphia skyline that's less than a mile from your house because it's too hazy.

Well, I can see it now, I couldn't this morning though...

guuuuhhhhhhhhh.... *sweats*

Yah, its so humid here today too, I could see the haze over the city from my apartment balcony this morning... yuck.

you know it's humid when your hair doesn't co-operate with you...

Oh my..i know what you're talking about Sally.

It's pretty hot today, but it's got that breeze that's a relief.

The first office i was put into today didn't have air conditioning...so it was BOILING...luckily i moved to a place that was cooler.

yeah it was so hot today! :o

like summer.

isn't it summer yet? :stunned:

It's hot...i'm just sitting here and i'm boiling.

WHAT! u live in Center City?

like...near Jefferson?

i hate the whole sweating thing right after you've just taken a shower.. that sucks.

you know what else sucks? when you don't have air conditioning in your car and you have to be in traffic

oh no!

that's intolerable!! :/

get a new car, Sol!!!

actually, that's what's wrong with my mom's old corolla...so i really told her to get a new car this Sunday when i went to meet her...she's like...we'll see...its okay...it's running fine...i keep the window down....

I'm like...NO wayyyyyy!!! get a new car! lol

u can't drive around in Houston's summer w/out AC!

and i bet it's the same in Chi=town also

LOL

I'm exactly the same way.. I've had this car for ages now.. and that's what I've been doing, just putting the window down. And it's soooo bad in the summer. Especially in the days when it gets up to 90 degrees outside.. (and I start sticking to the seats.. eeeewwwwww)..

But I would think Houston would be ten times worse than here :stunned:

Thankfully at least the heat works. If it didn't, I'd buy a new car in a sec. :dozey:

hahaha yeah...you're in a better seat in that case (no pun intended! LOL)

I wish! I live just on the other side of the Schuylkill river in Powelton Village. (I have no idea why I'd think that you would have any idea where that is, living a couple thousand miles away, but you at least know Thomas Jefferson University *shrugs*)

  you're right, i don' t know where Powelton Village is :P

but I can look it up on yahoo maps to get some idea! :-)

and yep, i know a lil about TJU... i got my reasons ;) :smug:
