I like some rap... but not all, some Nelly stuff and things like that ....... my parents don't like rap or hip-hop so I can't listen that when they are at home, but I'm not a huge fan anyway

I am not too much into rap either, and I agree with the whole album thing. Same thing with R'N'B. I don't really purchase R'N'B album because I tend to like only one or two songs with the exception of Maxwell, Mary J.Blige,Erikah Badu and Marvin Gaye.

 

With Rap I do have THe Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and The Roots.

 

But otherwise I am not too into it. It lacks melodies.
