i just got home from a mogwai show that ended like 1.5 hrs ago.. and my ears are still ringing, that was some kickass live show.

Hmm.. so besides these blokes 'slamming' Coldplay, I've no idea who they are.. but I have some remix of Clocks and Mogwai's "U Know Y" (? ..weird title) if anyone's interested. :happy:

They were playing in Ireland back in January. I meant to go see them but I forgot about it. Annoyed me a bit. I'm not overly fond of them but I wanted to check them out seeing as I only had the one album, "Happy Songs For happy People". I hope to catch them live at some future date.

Ack, they added a Toronto show, but its 3 days after Sigur Ros, and I doubt I'll be able to do the 5-hour trip so soon after the first concert.

I've recently been diggin more of these guys... I love Mr. Beast........ any other 'key' albums I should look out for???

Mogwai are a great band! love their music!!!

started to listen to them just a few days ago, so i cant say wich album is my favorite.

MOGWAI ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM DETAILS

New record is out in September

 

Mogwai have revealed full details of their new album, 'The Hawk Is Howling'.

 

The album, the band's seventh, is out on September 22, and will be preceded by a three-track EP, 'Batcat', two weeks earlier (September 8).

 

Mogwai have also teamed up with legendary ex-13th Floor Elevators frontman Roky Erickson for the song from the EP, 'Devil Rides'.

 

The tracklisting of 'The Hawk Is Howling' will be:

I have loved Mogwai for a very long time now, but I kind of lost track of their music. I went on iTunes today looking for Mogwai, and I stumbled upon Young Team. As of right now I am very stingy on money, so I need recommendations on the next three Mogwai songs I purchase. The reviews on iTunes aren't really helpful and all of the songs have full popularity. I really want a new Mogwai song but I just don't know which ones to get.

I would get Ratts of the capital. It's 8 minutes long, so there is lots to enjoy, and it's one of my favourite songs of theirs.
