Am I the only one here who hasn't seen Donnie Darko? It sounds so cool, and the website is driving me crazy. I have to see this movie! Also, I love the Gary Jules cover of Mad World.

I watched it, all I can say is what a crap ending...I understand it before ppl say "you don't get it" but its crap...weak finish...

ah i loved it. it freaked me out when the car ran over his girlfriend :/

I also love the soundtrack to it...not just the 80's songs, but the piano music is excellent, really atmospheric and eerie, but euphoric in some ways

grrrr :P I understand it but it's weak..I wont say what happens so not to spoil it for anyone else..but it left me with many unanswered questions...main ones being "What the fuck?" and "Why?"

 

Haven't felt that let down at an ending since Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail when they're about to charge the French castle and get arrested by policemen.

I think some of the best endings are the ones that make you wonder. It gets your mind working, I think.

I thought the ending sucked too. :P

 

And I think it's great sometimes when movies leave lots of questions unanswered, but I wasn't really satisfied with the way they tried to do that in Donnie Darko.

I love this movie....mainly because Donnie Darko is played by Jake Gyllenhaal, the hottest man alive. The movie is just well done, the cast is good, good story. Oh and the soundtrack kicks ass...I love it. Pay attention during the whole thing or you won't get the ending at all (as many of you don't I understand). It is a confusing story kinda. But its good.
