Britney is a huge fan of the band and her dream if for them to play their hit song Yellow on her big day. According to reports, Spears has enlisted mutual friend Madonna to arrange a meeting.

 

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "She's willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Money is no object."

Chris is married to Gwyneth who is friends with Madonna who has worked with Britney.

what's the big deal if she wants it?? she is after all just a person like anyone of us and i bet a lot of people would kill for yellow to be played at their wedding :/ just my opinion though :)

Yeah it's not a big deal that she wants Yellow played at her wedding...just that she wants the band to do it.

 

I could understand maybe if Coldplay were friends of hers but they aren't so it's just quite a big thing to ask for the actual band to be her wedding singers.
