I am glad that Coldplay spoke out against Brexit, and that the band is politically active in general (in their earlier years more than now). (If he apologized that is a bit weird though because it is not his/the band's fault, and they actively spoke out against it before...)

The interview was done back in Zurich...however we have to bear in mind he is only talking about Glastonbury not being the right moment for debuting B-sides here, doesn't mean there will never be the right moment. And what does noodly mean ? :D

We’re in a time when a lot of things separate and divide us – Brexit, walls – so hopefully our concerts are saying the opposite at the moment. Everyone in our band comes from disparate places, but Glastonbury is the one place we all feel we come from.” I think he’s about to launch into a political speech, but no – “I’m really talking about how we’re playing to a lot of hungover people who are a bit muddy. Where we’re at in our minds at the moment, it feels a little freer, and I think we’re really excited about singing together. I don’t think it’s the time to be debuting our noodly B-sides.” (He also admits that, playing at 10:30 on Sunday night, “we could just be soundtracking the exit”.)

I have a question to those who have been sitting in the higher and farther away ranks at stadium shows ! So my seat in a US stadium is in the higher ranks and a bit farther away from the stage (not the lowest price category, but the second-lowest.....tickets were so expensive in general, at least for my current budget). When I watch videos from shows I hear a lot of surrounding noise by people screaming, singing along or even plainly talking, and in the videos I sometimes find it hard to actually hear Chris sometimes (for example during Fix You or C-stage appearances). Is this a real problem when you are far away from the stage ? Has anyone in the higher ranks had trouble actually hearing everything from the concert ?

Thanks for your comment ! Yeah, I noticed that recently he has been using more metal slides. I checked out some live videos from the Parachutes and AROBTTH eras and there it seemed to be more glass, so I am a bit inclined towards glass (since those are the soundscapes I am looking to replicate, at least as much as my limited playing abilities will allow me to).
