As for the "star" obsession, I wanted to point out that I Ran Away also mentions it twice: A star arose in my cage I'm stuck in line, and in a cage Just a single little star I sing it for (By the way, to me these lyrics have always been very cryptic, except evoking the fact that the narrator feels stuck. Has anyone got a cool interpretation ?)
