Several people have used the word Oldplayer over time, so I don't know who exactly you mean, but anyway I am one of those people. I don't hate MX and GS. Yes, I dislike GS with the exception of 2-3 songs but that doesn't mean I never listen to it. And I like several songs on MX. The songs on MX are good pop songs. But I strongly believe Coldplay can do (and used to do) better. So you see it's not about hate, but about preferences on atmosphere, sound, genre. As it happens, I prefer the older stuff compared to the newer ones. Nothing wrong with that either.

From that Era i love the Glastonbury 2005 festival a lot. First, you can sense how much they love Glastonbury, it's the most important festival to them. Second, the set was amazing ! They played a lot of X&Y songs there which they hardly ever played again. And then the end with the lights and the dark sky and Fix You...it's magic. Too bad there are only low definition and cut recordings on the web. Didn't the BBC transmit this ? I'd love to have a good quality video recording of the Glastonbury 2005 concert.

The ohchrismartin blog says that security was very tight at the event, preventing people from taking photos. This could explain why there is hardly any photos and that one filmer had to lower his phone rapidly after 3 seconds of filming, probably due to the danger of being spotted and kicked out.
