Spacey synths as on X&Y would be welcome from my part, poppy cheesy ones as in MX not so much. And yes, Coldplay going semiclassical wouldn't be that bad. Viva was already in that direction at some points. Great modern music such as Pink Floyd's has been influenced by classical music.

Today the most amazing thing happened. For the first time in years, I heard Talk on the radio !!!! I was buying breakfast when i suddenly heard the riff. Once I got the sandwich in my hand I ran off to get as close as possible to the speaker, for it was barely hearable ! And as if that was not enough luck, another amazing thing happened. Late afternoon I was in a car with collegues when suddenly I thought I faintly hear the initial chords of Yellow. I was unsure at first if I'm right cause I've never ever heard Yellow on the radio !! Asked them to turn the volume up and I was right ! Couldn't listen to the rest of it as we turned the volume down again for conversation, but still a magical coincidence today.

I don't find it too personal (also, the pic is does not seem to have been secretly made). But you're spot on about the kind of attractiveness I meant. That's what I tried to explain all along (maybe too convoluted, LOL), that I don't define the attractiveness or likeability of a public person in a sexually oriented manner, because I simply don't see him that way. (a way in which I am sure I am different from probably most female fans ;))

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to say his body is all you ever talk about. It certainly isn't. (And by the way, it's true I'm not very active on this thread but occasionally I do look in to keep up with it, so thanks for the welcome but it's not like I've never seen it before ;)) I was more or less trying to make the point that to me personally, it feels wrong to crave for shirtless pictures and discuss them (or even more explicit stuff as above). I do appreciate pictures of him and the band and his family or whatsoever, but when the described kind of pics appear, I basically scroll on because I feel it wrong for such a very private thing to be glossed over. Also, glossing over these images imho implies a little bit more interest than just in a "friend" way, which again I find a bit creepy, And it may be me, but if you ask me what I find more attractive, it would be a pic of him, normally dressed, standing on the stage and singing. Or that pic of him holding his newborn baby. Because generally as I said, I wouldn't think of him in that girl-boy way, more in a best friend or sister-brother way. But well, that may be just me (and I guess it really is just me here :sneaky:)
